Mitsuda-san?

This sounds remarkably like Chrono Trigger... it brings back fond memories. Yes, this is perfect for an overworld theme.

Meh.

I feel the opposite of the reviewer below me. I don't mind the synth sounds so much (probably because I don't play real guitar). It's your composition that's bad. No instrument in the galaxy can make up for that. You use the same riff over and over and over AND OVER AND OVER with the same drum beat and same bass line. The riff was decent, but not for dozens of times in a row. When you do occasionally throw something different in there, it sounds okay. Always remember: the essence of boredom is repetition. Unless you were trying to bore everyone, you have a lot of work to do. Maybe if this song had only been two minutes, you'd have been fine, but alas it's much longer than that. Better luck next time.

Could Be Better

I liked it. It sounds awesome, and works for what you described. However, there could be more to it. Also, I don't think a fade-out serves something like this well. On a scale of 13 to 27, I give it a hopeful 22.

Techno + Piano = ?

This piece works very well. I love the difference between the cutting edge techno and the piano, which is an extremely old instrument. On a scale of 13 to 27, I give this work a heart-pounding 26.

Scorching

I can't really give you any advice or criticism on this, since you obviously know what you're doing. On a scale of 13 to 27, I give it a blazing 26.5.

Holy crap! Thanks for the blazingly awesome review!

No Thanks

It takes 35 seconds until there's any actual music, then it's just the same thing for about 30 more seconds. Then you do the same thing in all different keys. The chord progression here is just awful. The ending is rough at best. This needs a lot of work

Fantastic

There is so much emotion between the piano and the occasional strings. Percussion is scare, used only at the perfect times. Wow, this is a stunning piece.
5/5, 10/10, and a download

Of All the Songs You Could Have Picked...

Why the bicycle song? It's so motherfucking annoying arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh. Of course, it's only fair to score you on what you have done to it. The background runs are great, but the percussion leaves something to be desired.

Right...

I know abstract music is growing in popularity, but you still need some sort of tone in there...

Kind of Cool

The change halfway through was nice, I thought. It's very peculiar for a song of one minute to suddenly go in a completely different direction, but I liked it. I think you need more percussion in here though.

I'm awesome.
