Fun, but Quite Hard

Around level 25 the enemies just become way too strong. No matter if they have to run a gauntlet of level 3 and 4 towers, they're still going to get through. Even with aura synergy and careful placement of my hero, they get through far too often. One thing that really aggravated me was the "Move Hero/Select Tower" thing. It really slowed down the game. If you want my opinion, it should automatically assume you want to move the hero, since that's what you have selected. I'd also like to see more "choke points." A place where you can place a line of towers that the enemies will have to pass twice. There are only three on this map. Overall, it was a great game which needs some tweaking to become an excellent game.

A few things

The game was kind of fun, but here are a few things that could improve it:
1. Faster Walking
2. Mute button
3. Alert as to new things that can be used
4. People that aren't insanely impatient
5. The ability to carry a sandwich and a milkshake at the same time
6. Zombies

Pretty Good

I don't really get the fries thing, I guess it's a glitch? Also, it takes WAYYYYYYYYYY too long to progress through the game. You're sit there building the same burger over and over and over and over and over. I quit this game before I could buy McDeath's because I got so bored of doing the same thing. If lowered the prices of each item, this game might be more enjoyable.

Fun for a while

I wish there were a lot more upgrades, maybe some different weapons. Also, there are two things you forgot: the ability to save your game and a mute button.

Suomaf responds:

I was going to add a save feature... but then in the interest of having highscores, I wouldn't have wanted people able to reload a game to submit another highscore, although I could've made it so you can't submit a HS on load. If I get to adding a sequel there will be a save/load, and definately more upgrades.

Some Bugs

Hey, I really liked this game and am giving it a 10 but there are a couple of bugs that I can't ignore anymore.

Sound: With sound off, there will still be plenty of gunshots going and the announcer still talks. With music off, occasionally a song will randomly start playing in the middle of a game.

Spawning: If you spawn next to someone else, you're pretty much fucked. If you're watching someone else spawn and am about to shoot them with the instagib rifle, you can't really win. You can either click before they materialize, miss, and wait a few seconds for a reload, or you can wait for them to shoot you the very instant that they are in the game. On the hand, if you're spawning and they're running by, you can click all you want, but they'll always get the first shot, and get it at the exact moment you become tangible. Fucking annoying. Another thing, they spawn faster than I do. Why? I've been playing this game a lot and I noticed that they take less time going from body crawling out of the ground (whatever spawning animation) to being able to move.

Weapon problems: I was playing Zombie Invasion, I had plenty of ammunition, but my guns randomly stopped working. I was sitting there with double shotguns facing a horde of zombies and frantically clicking... nothing. I switch to a different gun, it fires a few shots, then similarly just stops with plenty of bullets left. I'm not sure if this is restricted to Zombie Invasion or not. When I'm playing instagib, I notice that the CPU Players' rifles reload faster. I can't tell you how many times we've both fired and missed at the exact same time, but I get shot in the head about a second before my gun would actually start working. I've tried clicking when I think it's ready, and I've tried just mashing the mouse button so it'll fire quickly; neither works. They always get the first shot. Obviously, this needs to be adjusted.

Jumping: This doesn't happen very often (and I've never really been fucked over by it yet), but sometimes I won't be able to double jump. Also, on the Space level, when you spawn in the "dungeon" area (standing on the grates), double jumps only get me out 1 out of 4 times. I don't know why this is. The timing is fine, I just can't get out sometimes (very annoying on Instagib).

I'm going to PM this list to you so I can be sure you'll get it. Other than a couple of issues, this is a magnificent game (better than any other FPS I've ever played). I wish you'd left the ability to roll in, and that there were simple commands you could give to your teammates (wait here, follow me, don't shoot, let me get the fucking flag because you're going to try to fight everyone you see instead of returning the flag to the base, return flag to the base without trying to fight everyone you see, etc.), but the game isn't broken in any sense. Thank you for a good way to waste many afternoons.

Uhh...

Why isn't there a 'back' button? I have to scroll through like 50 shirts all over again if I miss the one I want. Other than that... I don't really know. The music was annoying, I wish I could turn it off. I didn't really get to see much of it because I got so frustrated with the fucking shirts.

Straight Ballin'

So hot. I love this game. Level 29 and 30 were crazy as Hell! I hope you make MMM3 and it's even bitchassinner!

Some suggestions:
-a projectile that splits in two every time it hits something (increasing exponentially)
-some sort of temporary wall. I can't tell you how many times on level 30 I was watching all the huge explosions off screen and watching things get sucked into black holes when a Nuclear Cart was thrown past my turret faster than I could possibly react, if I could put up a wall that would last maybe 20-30 seconds, during which I was unable to launch projectiles, I think that would be bitchin
-some sort of autofire turret, I think if they did minimal damage it would keep this from feeling like every other defense game, but they would still help a bit
-bigger projectiles!

dz2001 responds:

> a projectile that splits in two every time it hits something (increasing exponentially)

increasing lag exponentially, lol
more than 5 projectiles = lags even on my comp

> some sort of temporary wall

whats the point of objectives then? why bother if there is a wall anyway lol

> some sort of autofire turret

more than 5 projectiles flying => huge lags

> bigger projectiles!

that can be done, I think

Needs a lot of work

I want to like this game. I really do. The graphics are nice, and the concept is cool. However, I spend more time discarding tiles than I do attacking (this is NOT an exaggeration). As a fighter, I get way too many spells that won't really help me and not enough attack tiles (I get more Gain Hit spells than actual attacks!). I think the chances of getting each tile should be drastically changed depending on your class. Another thing: some have mentioned that the combat is slow. Yes, it is VERY FUCKING SLOW. I need to be able to view tiles while my opponent is taking an eternity to attack. The animations are too slow, and there's too much time in between before I can click on the tile I want to use. After a few major improvements, this could be one of the best games on the Portal.

WORK ON IT.

Fun for a While

This gets boring very quickly, especially with the music and the fact that it's so easy.

Pretty Nice

I liked it, but it was way too short. A longer game would have gotten a much higher score.

I'm awesome.
